Revamp is a Charlotte-based community relations agency that turns data into actionable engagement strategies for police, diversion courts, municipalities & political campaigns
Councilwoman Reneé Johnson introduced the founders to each other after Joshua Mason and Pruthu Patel led UNC Charlotte’s largest peaceful protest while Kaiylah Wallace and Leslie Hunter worked abroad on Breonna Taylor’s campaign & locally with officials
After exchanging numbers, the guys made a group chat, hopped on FaceTine and in days, were excited to throw their first Tent City event but still didn’t have a name. So the four hopped on one more FaceTime, Googled synonyms for “repair”, laughing & sifting, before finally voting on “revamp”
